PTNPT had the pleasure of interviewing Moneyka Willis, a
noted hairstylist out of Maryland.
Although getting ready to open another hair salon in just two weeks,
Moneyka took time out of schedule to share her wisdom with PTNPT and for that
we are definitely grateful.
Moneyka has been doing hair since she was just in the
seventh grade! Monekya remembers
doing finger waves for just $5, but she has come a long way. Monekya has opened several hair salons
and written for several magazines and is definitely a force to be reckoned with
in the beauty industry.
When asked what advise would she give a young person looking
to break into the beauty industry, be it hair, nails, or etc Moneyka had this
to say, “A lot of people try to emulate.
It is all right to copy as long as you copy the right cat, but put your
own into it. That’s how you stand
a part.” PTNPT loves that
advise. Check out Moneyka Willis
